Place-based education uses the local community and environment to teach students mathematics, social studies, language arts, and sciences, emphasizing environmental education, outdoor education, and hands-on learning.

Donations to Place-Based Education in Livingstone Range School Division will help students access and enjoy year-round programming, including opportunities at PEAKS Campus. Funds are used for equipment, registration fees, transportation, bursaries, landscaping, facilities and infrastructure, safety gear, and ongoing program creation.
