Beginning in Grade 10, students will select and enroll in designated dual credit pathways. Students will leverage PEAKS Campus to set foundational knowledge and expand through field studies led by Lethbridge College instructors. Students will also travel to various locations to learn from industry partners in their places of work to further their understanding of the environmental and economic systems at play in Southern Alberta. The table below identifies the potential pathway for students completing a diploma or degree from Lethbridge College.
By making career connections, developing work related skills and being exposed to employment opportunities within the larger community, PEAKS Collegiate students will have a competitive advantage over their peers. Underserved industries such as resource management and environmental sciences require a capable and dynamic workforce. By receiving specialized educational programing and participating in work experience practicums, PEAKS Collegiate students will fulfill this needed role.
We must reiterate that the specialized programming is accomplished through access to the environment that surrounds the campus, the access to industry partners and the expertise of Lethbridge College instructors.

Practicum placements will also afford students the opportunity to make valuable career connections and bolster their resumes. While in the field students would perform duties outlined by the employers within agreed upon safety guidelines established by LRSD in collaboration with each industry partner specific to the nature and location of their operations.
